At Skeena, we are committed to building a more inclusive mining industry – where women are empowered, supported and represented at every level. In June, Skeena joined the mining community to celebrate International Day of Women in Mining. It’s a time to recognize the vital contributions women make across the industry.

Skeena is proud to be ahead of provincial industry averages in female representation, and will continue to break barriers and drive meaningful change for women in mining.

Our representation of women in the workforce is 60%* higher than the mining industry average. (*As reported by the MIHRC, 2024)

I am proud to be a part of the mining industry, and I firmly believe that every woman belongs here.
Let us celebrate the strides made and commit to furthering inclusivity, ensuring that every individual, regardless of gender, feels valued and empowered in our industry.
