Tahltan Open House – Prince George
Our first Tahltan Open House of 2025 took place in Prince George, B.C. in January. These events are opportunities to gather with good food and good company, and we thank attendees who joined us to share stories and hear the latest about Skeena and the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project.

2025 01 21 Roundup Tndc Night

AME Roundup
This January, Skeena took part in the Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) Roundup 2025 in Vancouver. The conference brought together thousands of geoscientists, prospectors, investors, governments and Indigenous partners from around the world to connect and exchange knowledge. Skeena members engaged with participants on how the mining industry can bring shared prosperity in our future.
During Roundup, our team was honoured to attend the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) Night Reception in Vancouver. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of TNDC, the evening was dedicated to Tahltan business development and relationship-building with industry, business partners and government.

Community Open Houses in Tahltan Territory
In March, Skeena hosted three open houses – in Iskut, Dease Lake and Telegraph Creek – representing our first opportunity to meet with Tahltan members in Tahltan Territory in 2025. In each location, our team met Tahltan members over dinner to discuss outcomes of the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project’s environmental assessment process and how the Project is integrating Tahltan Values in everything we do.

Community Open House in Whitehorse
We were honoured to co-host an open house with the Tahltan Central Government in Whitehorse during the Kilrich Yukon Native Hockey Tournament. The two-day event was a fantastic opportunity to share information about the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project and connect with Tahltan Members travelling for the event.
