BC Natural Resources Forum
In January, Skeena returned as a Platinum Sponsor of the B.C. Natural Resources Forum in Prince George. We hosted a VIP reception on opening night, where we brought leaders from across the natural resource sector together to learn more about the Eskay Creek Project.
Our CEO, Randy Reichert (pictured, centre), spoke on the Mining and Critical Minerals Panel, alongside industry peers. Nalaine Morin, SVP, Environment and Social Affairs (pictured, centre right), provided remarks following the “Insights from the C-Suite” panel.
AME Roundup
Our team took part in the annual Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) Roundup conference in Vancouver. Skeena’s Genevieve Pelletier, Regulatory Affairs Manager, delivered an enlightening presentation on Skeena’s work advancing Eskay Creek through the environmental assessment and mine permitting processes.
During the tradeshow, we hosted a booth and connected with hundreds of mining-sector colleagues. We also sponsored the Student Industry Networking Event and Women at Roundup showcase, and attended Yukon Night and B.C. Night in support of emerging talent while celebrating culture and growth across the industry. Our team also joined the annual Tahltan Night celebration hosted by the Tahltan Central Government, Tahltan Band, Iskut Band and Tahltan Nation Development Corp, where we connected Tahltan members and business partners, sharing stories and strengthening relationships.
