Skeena joined a three-day leadership, business and community gathering focusing on collaboration and opportunity within the Tahltan Nation.
Cassandra Puckett, Skeena’s Social Performance Manager (pictured) opened the Tahltan leadership and business forums with remarks grounded in her ceremonial teachings.
At the Tahltan Supplier Forum, we connected with local businesses and explored opportunities on how we can work together.

Skeena also participated in the Dease Lake Career Fair, where we connected with community members to share current and future career opportunities at Skeena. With construction well underway and initial production on schedule for 2027, Eskay Creek is projected to employ 1500 people during Construction and 950 during Operations. We highly encourage interested individuals to view our opportunities through the link below. Tahltan applicants can also apply through OnTrack.

During the three-day event, Skeena also gathered with Tahltan language speakers from Iskut, Dease Lake, and Telegraph Creek to begin conversations on naming our new lodge at Eskay Creek. We’re looking forward to opening the new lodge later this year!
